Janet Anderson grew up in Ohio and received her bachelor's degree from St. Olaf College in Minnesota in 1990. Since moving to Seattle in 1992, she has been active as a performing pianist, composer and teacher. She has also served as a piano adjudicator for WSMTA and the Performing Arts Festival of the Eastside. She currently teaches piano students ages 5 through adult at her home in Greenwood.
