Jason Shadrick

I have been teaching guitar for nearly 10 years. Covering styles from Rock and Blues to Jazz and Fingerstyle, my goal is to help my students become the best they can be. In lessons I emphasize knowledge of the fingerboard, reading music and understanding the basic concepts of music theory. My background is in jazz and blues music and I have a Bachelor’s Degree from Minnesota State University – Mankato in Music Business and a Master’s Degree in Jazz Pedagogy from the University of Northern Iowa.

Teaching music is a passion of mine and I love to share that passion with my students. From youth to adult, I can help develop a customized lesson plan that will help you reach your goals as a musician.
