Jean Rosenkrans

I am a both state and national certified Piano Teacher.I have a B.A. degree in piano from the college of Chinese Culture; M.M.from the University of South Carolina; credits toward D.M.A.study from the University of Oregon and the University of Washington. I am currently involved in the Well-Prepared-Pianist Institute Program concentrating on preparing advanced techniques for the beginning level; i.e. teaching students how to leverage their fingers, hands, wrists, forearms, the whole arm as well as the whole body in the production of tone and color. I emphasize posture and movement in piano playing. I have over 35 years of teaching experience. I have adjudicated for the National Piano Guild and Federation of Music Clubs. My students consistently garner superior ratings as winners in piano auditions and competitions.
