Jeff Cutler is the owner and operator of a writing services firm - Novel Ideas - and a freelance journalist with 20 years in the content-production industry. In this time, Jeff has written for a cable sports network, regional newspapers and national magazines.

Jeff established Novel Ideas in 1992 as president and Chief Operating Officer, where he began providing writing services to firms in the Boston Area. Some clients since 1992 have included Fidelity Investments, Brookstone Corporation, TJX, Uno Restaurant Group, Talbot's and Gatehouse Media. Jeff is responsible for all facets of the Novel Ideas' operation, although he frequently partners with design and visual professionals to create products for Novel Ideas' clients.

On the content production side, Jeff authors a number of blogs and contributes regularly to Websites like MobileMag.com and UniversalHub.com. He regularly covers the technology industry and has been a technology correspondent for NPR’s Here and Now program.

Jeff has been a guest lecturer at Northeastern University and has presented a freelancing seminar at Podcamp Boston. On the social-media side, Jeff has given presentations to the National Association of Women Business Owners and the Salty Legs Career Club. He also creates private Web for Business and Twitter Unwritten Rules sessions for businesses and individuals.

Jeff belongs to the New England Podcasters Association, Boston Media Makers, he’s a founding member of #iRoadTrip - a regularly occurring and themed content-creation journey across the United States.

Jeff's first book - Mountain Bike America: Boston (Globe-Pequot Press), was published in 2000. He’s currently editing a fiction novel.
