Jeff Jones Multi Media Develo's Profile

Jeff Jones has focused on building rich user interface web applications using a combination of AJAX, XML, Databases, JavaScript, .CSS, Flash, ActionScript and other multimedia content for the past ten years.

Jeff is the operations manager for The Website Design Center. His role includes project estimating, project management and personal hands on web 2.0 rapid application integration. The Website Design Center focuses on a component based development methodology by re-skinning existing web applications using AJAX, Photoshop, Flash, ActionScript and .CSS with the client's design choice.

Most of the sites Jeff works on are populated by Content Management Systems (CMS) and a variety of XML web services making the content more dynamic and engaging for the end user.

Recently Jeff worked for Microsoft Research in the field of Robotics. He has worked for several government agencies and fortune 500 companies as a contract systems analyst and solutions architect. He is the principal of Media, a web development company and AutoIdaho.com, a local online automotive portal. Jeff also works as a contractor for a number of graphic design firms in the Seattle area.

Prior to working as a web developer Jeff attended the University of Idaho where he received a Bachelors of Business majoring in both Information Systems and Accounting. Jeff lives in Bellevue Washington near the Microsoft Research campus.

Other interests Jeff enjoys are snow boarding, digital photography, video editing and actively engaging in local politics.
