A professional pianist for over 20 years, Jeffrey founded the Pettijohn Piano Studio in 2006 with a mission to offer a well-rounded approach of quality musical education in a fun environment.
Jeffrey began his musical studies at the age of 10. Seeking the highest caliber of teachers, he was privileged to have studied with concert pianists, John Khouri, Grace Owens, and Jacqueline Salas.
Jeffrey holds an Associate of Arts degree from Bellevue Community College. He was studying there when he took first place in the Eastside Young Artist Music Festival piano competition.
Choosing to continue his musical education through private lessons, Jeffrey studied jazz with Marc Seales, head of the Jazz studies program at the University of Washington; and piano and composition with David Mesler, Emmy nominated composer and teacher at Seattle Central Community College.
