Jeremy Shilley has been active in the Northwest music scene since his youth. In addition to his extensive experience as a studio teacher, he brings with him his very diverse background as a conductor, director, vocalist, performer and bagpiper. Jeremy received his formal music education at Pacific Lutheran University, where he began pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in music education and conducting. Midway through his studies, his academic focus shifted to vocal performance.

Jeremy’s own performance career is active and diverse, singing roles with such companies as Tacoma Opera and Bellevue Opera, and spent three years as a supplemental chorister for the Seattle Opera.

He has been a strong bagpipe competitor and professional pipe soloist for many years. He has piped for three live television broadcast including the high profile memorial service of Crystal Brame.
