I am a bassist working in the San Francisco bay area. I also keep a full schedule of students through my teaching practice at Gryphon Stringed Instruments in Palo Alto. I have played bass over 25 years. I am proud to be endorsed by SWR/Fender and Human Base Basses. I am originally from Atlanta, Ga. Since my arrival to the bay area in 1991, I have played almost evry concievable genre...Rock, Blues, Funk, Jazz, Latin, Soukous, Bluegrass, New Age...shall I go on?

I have a laid back style of teaching, focusing on proper right and left hand techniques, theory, reading, learning songs, how to play with a drummer, making charts, instrument and equipment selection.
