I specialize in a meditative hatha yoga practice. I enjoy working with yoga beginners. However, I also offer classes for all levels and body types. I emphasize breathing techniques, body awareness, and relaxation and safe yoga practice. I incorporate the use of Prana (the body's vital energy) in most postures in order to facilitate physical, psychological and emotional well-being and healing.
I am a registered pharmacist and a NYS Emergency Medical Tech. (EMT). In addition, I hold a doctorate in adult development and education from Columbia University. I teach full-time and conduct research as an associate professor at Long Island University.
