John Van Lierop

I have a BA in Music Education from Seattle Pacific University and completed a Masters Degree Program in Piano Pedagogy from the University of Washington. I'm certified as a piano teacher through the Music Teachers National Association and through the National Guild of Piano Teachers. I've been teaching piano in my home studio in West Seattle since 1968. Hundreds of students have come through my studio over the years. My goal as a music teacher is to help and encourage each student to reach their musical potential whether it is for pleasure or for serious pursuit.
