I have been a "professional" since the age of 16, starting in New York City, with **** Panama, "Phil" Diaz Latin Jazz Sextet, Chuck Davis, Gil Suarez & The Hi-Latins, to Gloria Estefan,The Jackson 5, Paquito D'Rivera, Juan Pablo Torres, Arturo Sandoval and many many others here in America and abroad. I have done over 17 International World tours with over 20 Grammy winning artist's. I now teach out of my home and have "attendee's" of my "Conga Camp/Intensive" from all over the world. One of the most recent from Ireland...I also play and record on a daily basis around Seattle and beyond...here is an example of my skills....**** I have taught at the University of Miami Dept. Of Percussion Music Works Northwest Cornish College of the Arts Pacific Lutheran University Bellevue Community College University of Washington
Qualifications
Education
- 47 years performing in Afro-Cuban/Caribbean Drumming and Music. Studied the Cuban methods of teaching how to play the Conga drum.
