Jorge's tutoring is very effective. All aspects of learning the language are covered without feeling like being in a class. The learning feels natural and not forced. He is great at teaching at your current level. You will look forward to each class as I do!

Jorge is an enthusiastic, fun, and engaging tutor, and was very flexible in tailoring a program to our specific goals, as well as our occasionally challenging schedules.
We hired Jorge for 10 sessions of Spanish language and Latin American business and culture tutoring. There were three of us who had had some previous Spanish instruction but were a bit rusty and hoping to brush up on vocabulary and grammar while learning tips for professional interaction with a client in Mexico.
He assessed our current language skills and tailored a program that quickly got us on track, blending instruction, conversation, and cultural insights for both business and casual interactions in Mexico and other Spanish-speaking countries. We found his program so enjoyable and effective we extended for another 10 sessions.
I would definitely recommend Jorge for anyone looking to improve on their existing Spanish skills.

I contacted Jorge after reading several reviews here on TeachStreet about how amazing a teacher he is. They couldn't be more spot on! Jorge is extremely knowledgeable, patient, attentive and he's got a fantastic sense of humor. After working with him these past few months, I can honestly say that my Spanish has improved considerably. The more complex rules of the language that I never previously understood after years of classroom work and Rosetta Stone lessons became clear very quickly due to Jorge's real-world approach and deep knowledge of the language and how to teach it to English-speakers. Beyond the benefits of having a great teacher, there is the added benefit of working with a compassionate, interesting and patient person whom I now consider a good friend as well. I anticipate working with Jorge on the finer points of the Spanish language for some time to come as I reach that enviable level of true fluency. Thanks, Jorge! :)

Jorge is a wonderful tutor. I had taken Spanish for many years in school and hadn't used my skills in a long time. Jorge has a great ability to meet his students where they are at. I had a blast during each session - most times the hour flew by with me actually wanting some homework to do. After a few sessions my Spanish was back to where it used to be. I would HIGHLY recommend Jorge - he has great knowledge of the language both spoken and written, and always teaches with humor, patience and passion.
