Okinawan Shorin-Ryu Karate
The Shorin-Ryu style of karate was one of the first styles to be organized and systematized in Okinawa. It is self-defense oriented with it’s main emphasis on an immediate and totally effective counter attack.
KIDS KARATE - Ages 4-16
In today’s world parents need extra help reinforcing RESPECT, COURTESY, SELF-CONFIDENCE AND SELF-DISCIPLINE while learning SELF-DEFENSE. These are part of everyday lessons at our school. Our Kids Karate classes teach much more than kicking and punching. We teach life skills.
Adult Karate - Ages 17 and up
Traditional Shorin-ryu training; combining physical conditioning and strengthening with an emphasis on effective self-defense against single or multiple attackers, who are armed and/or unarmed.
Cardio Kickboxing - Adults only
Our Cardio Kickboxing borrows upper body conditioning methods from western style boxing and adds the flexibility and leg strength of kickboxing. This program is designed for individuals who desire not only cardiovascular conditioning and strengthening but also an exciting and variable workout. In addition to aerobic kickboxing routines, students in this class will also learn the basic techniques of Kickboxing. Our classes incorporate stretching, jumping rope, shadow boxing, parrying drills, bag training, and strength training. Adults only.
