Kathy DeAguiar

Kathy is a fantastic teacher. Her smile lights up the room, and she immediately makes everyone feel welcome and part of the gang. I love how she makes sure to share cultural information alongside the dance, not in a lecturing kind of way, so it feels integral to the dance (it is!) rather than an afterthought. The pace of the classes I took was quite slow, mainly because many of the students had no dance experience and had a tough time learning any choreography, which is 90% of the class content. I would have loved an option for a faster paced class, but still enjoyed this class very much. I would take from her again if time allowed, but her class was moved due to time slow conflict at the studio, and so I am unable to attend at this time.
