I am a new mom (my little one is 10 months old), but my former life was as a science teacher. I have a creative mind, and was able to put my creativity to use while teaching.

I have always had a knack for coming up with new ways to craft on a dime. I enjoy experimenting with recycled items and re-purposing them to craft. My newest passion is DIY screen printing. I craft my frames from old picture frames and recycled drapery (so a screen ends up costing about $2, instead of $30-40). Because I have so many ideas for screens, I would be broke if I didn't make them myself.

I have recently launched an etsy shop: katyANDzucchini.etsy.com, where I sell my screen printed stuff. Although I enjoy screen printing and selling my stuff, I really miss TEACHING. I am so excited to start sharing my screen printing tricks with others.
