♫ I love to help people discover and learn music! I strive to be a fun, friendly and patient music teacher. I teach guitar full-time and I have over 10 years teaching experience (and 22 years playing experience). I believe that music lessons should be fun as well as educational. ♫ Kevin specializes in beginners, children and adults, (as well as the more advanced guitarist). His unique approach allows the beginning student to play the guitar right away. He creates a comfortable atmosphere and tailors the lesson to meet the student’s needs. Kevin is known for his versatility and covers a wide variety of styles. He specializes in music theory, technique, fundamentals, interpretation, and learning specific songs the student is interested in.

♫ Kevin is a graduate of McNally-Smith College of Music, where he majored in Guitar Performance and Studio Performance, and received the Award for Outstanding Musical Achievement in the field of Guitar. While in college, he was the teaching assistant for the head of the music theory department, instructing students in music fundamentals and jazz & pop harmony. Kevin has also played and performed with numerous accomplished musicians and a variety of groups and ensembles.
