Kindermusik with Betsy

San Mateo, CA

A bit about me.... Betsy Anne Baumgardner! I knew at a very early age that I wanted to be a musician. My favorite instrument was the organ, and I told my family that when I grew up I was going to be a "yorganist", couldn't quite pronounce "organist" at the age of 4, and that I would play big pipe "Yorgans"! My favorite person at church was Mrs. Curdy -- the organist. She would pick me up and put me on the organ bench after the service and let me play while she was packing up her music. I have a MA (masters) in Organ Performance from The Juilliard School (NYC). When I discovered Kindermusik, I fell in love with this program. It truly does prepare children for further musical advancement in their lives, along with developing a whole host of other skills. I view this as a necessity for complete development of all children. The fact that you are reading this and perhaps contemplating enrolling is fantastic. There are many programs out there to choose from. Kindermusik has been around for several decades and has a proven track record of consistent results and pleased parents/children. I currently serve as Director of Music and Liturgy at Hillsdale United Methodist Church, and I also have a teaching studio of piano/organ/voice students in the after-school hours of the week.

Its wonderful to have you visit my Kindermusik Studio website. I was introduced to Kindermusik in 1998 through a wonderful woman who had a growing studio in Texas. I attended one of her classes and just fell in love with the whole program.

Through this website you can read some of the research on childhood development, fill out an enrollment brochure, send me an email, or pay for classes through my secure online store.
