  Review of Home Yoga Tuesday and Wednesday at noon Home Yoga Seattle in lower Queen Anne, March 23, 2009

  I've been taking Kitty's noon yoga class for well over 2 years. This is a difficult class to teach as it is only an hour and it is "all levels" so the class often ranges from first-timers to advanced students. She does a great job making the class challenging for students of all levels. Her classes often include flowing sequences as well as taking time to break poses into their detailed alignments. It's clear she's paying attention to the class since she will stop the class if we're not getting it or walk around and give individual hands-on corrections. There are several poses that I will always attribute to learning from Kitty's detailed instruction and encouraging spirit. Great class!

  Kitty is a fantastic yoga instructor. I started with her as a very beginner and under her guidance my practice has greatly deepened. great personal attention whether the class is big or small. I highly recommend her to any level of student!

  Kitty was my teacher for almost 6 years, then she moved for a while. I missed her during this time both as my semi private yoga teacher and friend. Searching for a teacher that had the understanding of what i needed and the ability to be present in the moment was not easy. Lets face it I was spoiled. She was my first teacher, after not doing yoga for over 20 years. Going to other teachers during her time of her being gone, I came to the understanding that there was only a few teachers [all with over 15 years experience ] that could teach what Kitty gave me. I am now back in her semi private classes again and it is like going back to the womb, and being given the nectar again. Her classes are not just the poises but a personal connection to what each student needs in that moment. thank you Kitty, Don PA

  Kitty is an advanced experienced instructor and can easily help beginners be at ease with her simple precise gentle humorous voice. She has a wide breadth of knowledge that goes beyond yoga as she integrates this in her class and private instruction. She has helped me recover tremendously from a serious accident and I am truly grateful to her. She is a very skilled acupuncturist as well.

  Review of Kitty Wittkower, February 05, 2009

  Kitty is inspirational. She is great with beginners, helping you to build a foundation so that you will be doing yoga for years, not dropping out because of an injury or overuse. She demonstrates a strong foundation, what it looks like, how to find it, and she makes corrections during class, so that you get that kinesthetic sense of where you are in space, and where you need to be to so that you don't get hurt. I appreciate that eye for detail and hands on approach. She has such a wealth of material and experience to draw upon. She's awesome!
