TeachStreet is Closing
Jacquie Kunzman, owner and director of the Jacquie Kunzman School of Ballet in Oregon City, has been a member of the dance world for more than 55 years. Trained in Portland by the noted Russian master Nicholas Vasilieff, she also studied with Leon Fokine and Alexandra Fedorova of New York, and Mme. Beheffi and Leon Varkas of California.
Ms. Kunzman was a soloist with the Los Angeles Opera and Ballet Company and the Portland Opera Association. She has performed in several television specials, as well.
For many years, Ms. Kunzman has directed and managed dance schools on the West Coast. She was director of the Academy of Ballet Oregon, and a faculty member of the Jefferson High School Performing Arts Program in Portland.
