Jacquie trained this dancer from Kindergarten through high school and into her college years. Her focus on detailed technique, disciplined training, and strict attention to accurate muscle development allows her dancers to pursue the world of dance in almost any format they would choose. I have seen her strong foundation of classical ballet training allow dancers to undertake successful stage performances in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, musical theater, ball room dancing, dance team, as well as modern, and lyrical. Students return in later years with their own children for that same detailed attention to refined dance technique.
The Clackamette Youth Ballet Nutcracker performance is entering its 12th year in Canby and it has been a joy to watch her students grow through the different levels and parts offered. As the parent of this pointed toe dancer I have been honored with the experience of learning the thrills of performance with all of its behind the scenes action as well as an appreciation for the disciplined skills necessary to reach a level of expertise that produces a photo of such grace and beauty.
