I had been an executive secretary, sales rep, and receptionist in many different fields for many years. I learned study skills and used that knowledge to help adults learn study skills and get through courses. I decided that children needed the same help so that school would not be such a struggle. For more than 10 years I have been helping children in grade school and middle school with phonics, writing, reading, comprehension, math and study skills in their homes, in a library or at after-school programs.
