I have been a professional musician all my adult life. I have performed with symphonies, operas, served as backup for rock bands such as Rod Stewart, played on soundtracks for Dave Matthews, and performed chamber music worldwide. I have taught group string classes in high schools, coached Seattle Youth Symphony violins, and, in my teaching studio, welcomed many beginning and returning young and not-so-young growing musicians.

I was leery of beginning the violin as an adult, but Linda was very encouraging and patient with me. She is great about letting me choose where and how I want to develop musically, and has even made special arrangements so my husband can play duets with me. Gee, who thought an old gal like myself could be learning the violin!

My two grade school children started with Linda last year. I have been impressed by her dedication, kindness and positive teaching style. She has a great teaching manner and really has made it fun for my kids. She goes out of her way to create new teaching material specific for my daughter. Highly recommended!! Mary
