  I really enjoyed taking voice lessons with Lindy. From the first lesson, she works on getting to know you as an individual; your likes and dislikes, as well and your dreams and aspirations. I had never taken voice lessons before so I really didn't know what to expect. Lindy made me feel right at home and really helped me to overcome many of my insecurities about singing. She is open and honest because she really wants you to be the best at what you can do. I would not only consider her a great teacher, but a great person and friend as well.

  Review of Lindy LaFontaine, April 17, 2009

  Lindy really turned me into the musician I am today. When I first went to her I had been in the same band for over two years with really nothing to show for it. Not only did Lindy help me with my singing but she also helped me arrange my melodies, work on the whole band's repertoire and helped me with marketing which is really important. After working with Lindy for a year my band has been signed to a reputable Indie label, we've won the regional Battle of the Bands and we now have a huge fan base. I really don't think we would be where we are without Lindy. She also came in and helped the whole band with harmonies and performance.
  I highly recommend going to Lindy if you have any doubt about your voice and/or performance. She'll help you get you where you want to be.

  I only had the pleasure of working with Lindy for a short time but during that time she proved to be a generous teacher both with her time and expertise. She pushed me hard and was sometimes stingy with praise but overall she helped me find the confidence to keep working with my voice.

  I am someone who love expressions of all sorts, and had some challenges when it comes to singing, but I love it and wanted to be able to do more. then I found Lindy. she paid careful attention to the way I hear music and the way I sing, took notes each and every lesson. after a few lesson, I had begin to have a much better understanding, and had discovered what I could do but never been able to do with my voice! it was evolutionary! now not only that I have improved my singing skill, I got down all the chords on keyboard........... ~.~

  I have learn what I always wanted to learn and much much more after her tutoring. and I hope you get to meet her and have great learning experience yourself!

  I took singing lessons with Lindy for a little over a year and I am 110% satisfied with her teaching. She tought me so much about singing, songwriting and even tought me how to play the piano so I am now writing chords for my songs. She is also great because she tailors how she teaches to each individual student. She will help you focus on what you need to accomplish your goals, whatever they may be. The quality of my voice now is amazing - everyone who's known me since before I started taking lessons with her is astonished by the transformation. Before working with Lindy I was in a small band and did a few open mics. Now i'm in a regular gigging cover-band as well as working to record my own original demo. I cannot say enough about what a great teacher Lindy is. If you're looking for an instructor who is going to teach you EXACTLY what you need to succeed, whatever level you are trying to get to, then Lindy is it!
