About Me
I am a 25-year-old who loves challenges and learning new things. My most recent goal in life is to run a marathon. Because the job market in education has stopped many of us teachers from getting hired, new challenges need to be created. I needed a goal and a marathon was something I knew I could tackle. I am currently training for the Honolulu Marathon in December and I hope to succeed.
In the mean time, I am staying active in my job search and rededicating my time to marketing and learning. I have just signed up for TeachStreet and I am looking forward to getting to know this site a little better.
With this in mind, I have always wanted to learn how to create oil paintings. My walls in my room are completely bare and to be taught something like that would be amazing. Or maybe I could learn how to play the piano. That would be a dream. Like I mentioned above, I am a natural teacher and to be the student would be a nice switch for me. As teachers, we must remember what it's like to be a student in order to fully understand the process. Don't you think?
