I am a fiction writer, writing instructor and massage therapist and I also create coptic-stitched journals. My fiction has been published in the online magazines, Pemmican, All Things Girl, and Dublin Quarterly where my story "Flying Dreams" was chosen as an Editor's Choice for 2007. Early on, I worked as a journalist for a small paper in SW Washington. I have an MFA in Writing from Pacific Lutheran University's Rainier Writers Workshop.

I have also been a licensed massage therapist and yoga teacher for more than ten years with advanced training from the Sivananda method of asanas and meditation.
