Sue Brown and Ed Soehnel, are the wife/husband team and owners of Love My Dog Training. Sue personally conducts all training for Love My Dog Training and has been providing dog training and behavior counseling since 1996.

We offer group classes for puppies, basic training for family dogs, intermediate classes, tricks, basic manners, leash manners, and other classes for the family puppy or dog. We offer Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Test preparation classes and CGC Testing. In addition to group classes, we conduct private in-home training for all the same things we do in group classes and any other training or behavior modification needs you might have. We also provide behavior counseling for dog behavior issues, including but not limited to: jumping, digging, barking, housetraining, reactivity toward other dogs or people, shyness and fear issues.

I am a Certified Dog Behavior Consultant through the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants and a Certified Professional Dog Trainer through the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers.

I am also a Professional Member and the Greeter for the State of Colorado of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers, a professional organization of individual trainers who are committed to becoming better trainers through education and to increasing public awareness of dog friendly training techniques.

We work closely with Colorado Greyhound Adoption, a nonprofit group in Denver that places retired racing greyhounds into new homes. We have fostered many greyhounds as well as assisting other foster families and new adopters with behavior and training issues.

We believe in using positive reinforcement methods by focusing on rewarding good behaviors with food and other life rewards. We encourage incorporating training into one’s daily routine.
