Maitripa College is a revolutionary innovation in higher education - a graduate school integrating scholarship with meditation and social service to create a transformative, holistic education for adults.

Grounded in the Buddhist worldview, Maitripa College offers a 2 year Master of Arts in Buddhist Studies degree, with options to take courses as a full time degree-seeking student, a certificate-seeking student, or as a part-time student. Courses in the program include various topics of Buddhist philosophy, meditation, Buddhist history, contemporary topics in Buddhist Studies, community service practicums, and courses in Classical Tibetan Language.

Maitripa also offers as a regular course of Extension Program events for the general public including workshops, continuing education retreats, and meditation retreats. Maitripa's Extension program has also been approved by the APA to offer Continuing Ed. credits in psychology.

Maitripa College also houses a traditional Tibetan meditation hall and holds weekly Buddhist teachings from highly qualified teachers for the community.
