MARK WAHL is owner and director of Mark Wahl Learning Services in Washington State near Seattle. He has been a mathematics learning specialist since the 70'sand a test preparation specialist since the early 80's.He is interested in the influence of the multiple intelligences and the use of both hemispheres of the brain in learning and in test taking. He often takes on the cases of children and adults who are pronounced "math-challenged," having "math learning disabilities," or those who require more acceleration and challenge in math than their teachers know how to provide. He is a teacher, author, teacher trainer, and consultant. He has written four books, the most important of which are " Math for Humans: Teaching Math Through 8 Intelligences" and "A Mathematical Mystery Tour,"both of which are used widely by teachers in the US and abroad.
