  Review of Small Object Digital Photography for Etsy Sellers, September 10, 2009

  After I took this class with Marlo, the photos of my jewelry were instantly better. For anyone that is not happy with their photos, Marlo can definitely help out. The class sizes are very small which is excellent for one on one time. Marlo also helped out with a few tips for the etsy site which was a plus. Thank you for the great class!

  Review of Marlo M, April 10, 2009

  I took Marlo's photography workshop recently and really enjoyed it. Marlo began by explaining a little of the technical stuff of photography -- just enough to give us a better understanding of what certain camera settings are actually doing. She then photographed several pieces of jewelry, showing us some of her own techniques using various set-ups, lighting, etc. The rest of the time was spent in a hands-on experience, as we used our own cameras to photograph our own jewelry in the various locations around her studio. Marlo worked with each of us to help us get our shots just right.

  The workshop was limited to four people, which offered greater individual attention than you would get in a larger class. Marlo is easy going and encouraging and eager to share her knowledge with others. Her prices are also very reasonable.

  Thanks, Marlo! I loved it and learned a lot!

  I consulted with Marlo to teach me ways to further broaden my craft business. At the time I was feeling really stuck and within just two sessions I had an entire arsenal of tips, tricks & plans to move my business forward.

  Marlo is totally open with her studio in a relaxed and welcoming environment. She is terrific at step by step organized process of what you are learning and always positive, attentive your needs and totally fun. She strives for perfection in her work and that benefits the student in that the feedback helps you learn lots of detail that you may not get elsewhere, and how to fix the pickle you seem to always get into when learning new procedures. I know Marlo is a master silversmith and her persona is so warm and encouraging, never any pressure. I look forward to any opportunity to study with her.

  Review of Marlo M, April 10, 2009

  I signed up with Marlo to learn to take better photos for my Etsy store and web site. She was well organized and had great tips for improving our photography skills. She went step by step from camera basics to photographying to creating a "brand" for our Etsy stores. I went out and bought some materials that she suggested for taking my photographs and am very pleased with the results I'm getting. I would take another class from Marlo any time!
