Marlo is totally open with her studio in a relaxed and welcoming environment. She is terrific at step by step organized process of what you are learning and always positive, attentive your needs and totally fun. She strives for perfection in her work and that benefits the student in that the feedback helps you learn lots of detail that you may not get elsewhere, and how to fix the pickle you seem to always get into when learning new procedures. I know Marlo is a master silversmith and her persona is so warm and encouraging, never any pressure. I look forward to any opportunity to study with her.

I signed up with Marlo to learn to take better photos for my Etsy store and web site. She was well organized and had great tips for improving our photography skills. She went step by step from camera basics to photographying to creating a "brand" for our Etsy stores. I went out and bought some materials that she suggested for taking my photographs and am very pleased with the results I'm getting. I would take another class from Marlo any time!

Marlo has been instrumental in helping to guide me on a path in my career/life that I had viewed as 'my ideal career', but was not confident in how to get to this seemingly impossible place.
Her own experience and wisdom provided me with thoughtful data points, a guide to tools, weblinks to places I needed to reference for comparative data, and encouragement when I felt I had taken wrong turns. She set me back on track.
Marlo also taught me that a lot of the work that would get me to this 'ideal' place required me to do some digging myself; thereby allowing my own confidence to grow, and fueling my ideas about how I could use my own 'backyard' to help me move forward.
I'm still in the process of growing my business, so I still consult with Marlo for feedback on events in my path to this 'ideal career'. I'm thrilled that there is still so much more for me to discover. But, I'm proud to say that the work that I have done with Marlo in a few short months has already shown its worth. My business is establishing its presence within my own community at a pace that works for me, and is giving me time to expand my business vision for the future.
Marlo has been a light for me and I'm so thankful to have been able to establish a business relationship with her. I encourage anyone that needs a guide for bringing a small business idea to life to talk to Marlo!
