Evanston Violin Lessons

Teaching uniquely envelops the human experience. But moreover, it is the knowledge about the learning process that is the most valuable aspect of teaching.

I believe that students should:
1. Have a safe and helping environment where the student feels free to experiment with methods learned and untried
2. Be constantly encouraged to achieve their absolute best and
3. Instill a self-sense that their best effort is the ultimate goal in itself.

Great students start with a great teacher. Since no two people are ever the same, I use several different methodologies (Suzuki, Sassmannshaus, Schradieck, Galamian, etc.) to design a individual personalized curriculum for the student. I believe that in order to maximize the students learning potential, the pupil must always enjoy their work.

In order for students and parents to get a well rounded idea of how I conduct my sessions, I offer a free no-obligation trial lesson. If you are interested in having lessons, please visit my website at www.matthewcataldi.com/teaching.html for more information.

My studio is located at the corner of Greenwood and Elmwood in the center of Evanston.
