Mellilah Dance's Profile

Mellilah performs the ancient art of belly dance, also known as raqs sharqi, throughout the Greater Seattle Area and beyond. A true entertainer, Mellilah’s elegance and charismatic style keep audiences of all ages enchanted. Her shows are fun and dazzling, leaving guests amused, at ease and wanting more!

Mellilah performs as a soloist and often partners with a live Arabic band, musicians, and other dancers. She has been featured in many of Seattle’s restaurants, and large-scale stage productions and is a member of the Blue Lotus Dance Co.

Mellilah is the co-producer of “Jewels of Egypt: Dances from Afar” a monthly dance showcase, featuring local dancers and musicians of various styles, and organizer of "Return to Cairo," a monthly Middle Eastern show, featuring a live band.

Mellilah teaches group belly dance lessons, Level 1 and Level 2, in two Bothell locations and private lessons in Mountlake Terrace dance studio.

Mellilah has completed Hadia's Middle Eastern Dance Teacher Training Level 1, 2, & 3 and is a certified fitness instructor.

Mellilah teaches group and private belly dance classes/lessons in and around Edmonds, Lynnwood, Mill Creek, Bothell, and Mountlake Terrace.
