  Mr. Kaulkin is a great composition teacher. His respect for students is awesome and he is comfortable to be around. Also his willingness to go into areas such as pop and broadway is resfreshing. I think Mr. Kaulkin is an ideal teacher.

  Review of Michael Kaulkin, October 16, 2009

  Michael is relaxed and easy going. He seems to be able to custom teach to your needs and goals as a musician. For me, my aural skills and ear training has benefited tremendously in only a month from Michael's unique approach to solfege. He also has a different methodical approach to teaching theory that makes it easy to understand. I've had nothing but good experiences with him.
