About Me
I am an acupuncturist and herbalist with over ten years of treating and caring for my patients. I believe that health is a journey we all travel.
I have learned that there is a powerlessness that accompanies illness, especially with chronic illness. What I enjoy about my work is watching a person's renewed sense of strength and power return as they recover their heath.
I have studied at two of the best schools for Traditional Chinese Medicine in the United States: the Maryland Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Bethesda Maryland; and the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco. And today I hold degrees from both schools.
I am Nationally Certified in Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine by the NCCAOM, the Certification Board in the United States. And I am a member of the American Association of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine.
Teaching and Learning for me are the foundations of a life well-lived!

Mike is a compassionate and knowledgeable healer. During our 2 years working together at Elephant Pharmacy in Walnut Creek, CA. I have witnessed his expertise in medicinal herbs. He is able to communicate Chinese Medicine concepts in a way that the general public can easily grasp. His quick wit puts people at ease. I highly recommend Mike as an acupuncturist and herbalist.
