I am a professional musician with 10 years of teaching experience. I've discovered the most important thing is to make piano lessons fun. My experience as an active performer and professional composer expand the depth and effectiveness of my teaching.

I teach a well-rounded music education program that focuses on reading music, performing, composing, improvisation, and music theory. My students learn to develop a relaxed and natural piano technique - preventing harmful habits or injury.

My student-centered teaching method allows students to play music they like and want to learn while incorporating a solid foundation of classic piano literature. I provide opportunities for parents to be involved in their child's piano lessons by recording and podcasting their weekly progress.
