Hi there! I am an accomplished singer, ukulele-strummer, band leader and ukulele teacher. I play regularly in Seattle with my vintage jazz band, Miss Rose & Her Rhythm Percolators, as well as two duos, the Honeyville Rascals & Laughing Rose Duo. I've been playing uke for five years and teaching for the past three. I've taught private lessons as well as group workshops and play music from a variety of genres including vintage jazz, old-time, folk, and Hawaiian. As a ukulele teacher, I especially love working with beginning students and do so with patience, understanding and an irrepressible sense of humor. I'm also happy to design lessons for more experienced players who are interested in learning performance technique and "jazz" chords.
