June 2005 – Present  San Francisco Botanical Garden at Strybing Arboretum. As Plant Collections Registrar I keep track via accessioning and inventory all the plants grown here for educational and research purposes. June 1981 – December 2007 (26 years 7 months) 1981-2007: Managed and assisted curation of ca. 2 million plant specimens in the research dept of Botany specializing in bryophytes. Also occasionally led natural history field excursions and taught classes through the museum's adult education programs. Also participated in international expeditions collecting bryophytes in other parts of the world, primarily Asia.
