This is my seventh year playing the flute inside and outside of school. I am currently a senior at Inglemoor High and an International Baccalaureate diploma candidate. I have taught beginner flute for 2 years now and I continue to enjoy watching and assisting my students learn at a fast rate. Next year, and all throughout college/university, I will pursue my teaching occupation, aside from being a full time student.
I keep myself on stage in many ways, including entering competitions to strengthen my performance abilities. I have had the pleasure of performing with vocalist Katt Tait and pianist Eric Verlinde at New Orleans Jazz Club in Seattle. Also, I have had the privilege of meeting and jamming with Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull, put together by the Flutewise organizaion, at Paramount Theatre. In addition, last Christmas, I was featured on King5 playing duets with Kiersten McKibben. Currently, I am preparing to perform for the 2008 Olympics in Beijing with 80 bandmembers from my high school and 1920 other bandmembers from around the world.

"Enthusiastic"

Neda is my student, and has been taking lessons from me for several years. This year she is a senior in high school. I have always found her to be an eager learner, and diligent practicer. She has a sunny personality, and always brightens my day. A couple of years ago, she began teaching lessons to younger students. She talks about how fulfilling it is to pass on what she has learned. For those with younger students, I can highly recommend her. I feel she loves music, and passes on her enthusiasm, and is a positive role model.
