Nils Osmar has made his living in the arts for over twenty years. He has worked as a fine and commercial artist, book and magazine illustrator, portraitist and cartoonist. His artwork has been published in the United States and Europe, and featured in several national magazines. In addition to his work as a visual artist, Nils has been active in Seattle's theater scene as an actor, director and playwright. His stageplays have been produced at the Seattle Fringe Festival and other venues. He is the author of a short story collection, The Hungry Time (Wonder Publishing, 1996). His films have played at international film festivals. Nils has also taught a variety of classes and workshops for over 20 years, at the ASUW Experimental College, Shoreline Community College, the Wonder School of the Arts and other programs.
