Teacher Nora Stebbins has been teaching dance in Alameda for over 20 years, which includes training, directing and choreographing for many age groups. She currently offers dance classes at Ruby's Tumbling and is a teacher for Dance/10 Performing Arts Center. Nora is recognized as a Certified Master Teacher in Acrobatics by Dance Masters of America, Inc. and regularly prepares her acro teams for regional and national competition. In 2006, her team placed Platinum 1st in Showstoppers regionals and went on to compete at Disneyland for nationals.
Some of her past performances include: World Expo-Spain; opening year of EuroDisney-Paris, France; Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, New York City(2x); Disney World, Disneyland, Great America, Six Flags, several cruise ships and even performed at opening day for the San Francisco Giants. Recently, she performed in a Coca-Cola commercial which aired in IMAX movie theaters and during the 2006 NCAA Basketball Final Four Championship Game on NBC.
