  I highly recommend taking a photography class or workshop through Oregon Photo Safaris, as taught by Dwon Guvenir. His classes are very informative, as well as entertaining. They cover camera fundamentals, as well as tried and true photography principles, which will intern open the door to your own creativity. You will be able to take better pictures, whether you are an amateur or professional, and regardless if you're using a point-n-shoot, SLR, film or a digital camera.

  What I like most about these classes is that Dwon is so approachable! How often do you have someone with his knowledge and experience at your disposal to answer questions and solve problems that always left you wondering... why is this or that happening when I take a picture? I also enjoyed sharing an environment with people that have a similar interest and curiosity about photography.

  Personally, I was not looking to become a professional photographer, but to just take better pictures of my 3 year old daughter. With Dwon's help, I was certainly able to achieve my goal, and I have a bunch of great pictures that I will cherish for many years to come. Give it a try, I'm sure you'll benefit from it too!
