I am recently received my Master's degree in American Intellectual History from Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, California. I will be starting my Ph.D. next Fall, and I would like to engage my interests and education in a practical manner over the next year. My master's thesis combined my expertise in American philosophy with a growing interest in American history since the Civil War. I am proficient in the history of philosophy from the Ancients all the way up through contemporary Western thought. It is my hope to utilize my background in philosophy and history to aid students having trouble understanding what philosophy is, what philosophers do, and how to read and write on this topic.
