"What really makes the bands (Skyline Drifters) work extra special is addition of instrumental passages that blend the fanciful flight of jazz and western swing with the solid, right on the money beat of bluegrass. Mandolinist Pete Martin does especially well at this, and deserves a compliment for approaching this type of material with his own invention."
