I’ve been improvising almost 30 years and teaching almost as long. I have taught improvisational theater and acting around the world to thousands of students. In addition to my work with theater professionals and the general public, I have taught workshops for numerous corporate clients including Boeing, Microsoft, Weyerhaeuser, Charles Schwab.
My approach to improvisation has been influenced by studies with Del Close (creator of the Harold), Paul Sills (Co-Founder of Second City), and Keith Johnstone (Author of Impro). I was a founding member of Unexpected Productions, Seattle’s longest running improvisational theater company and am the company’s Artistic Director.
