Rebecca Patterson brings to her voice instruction over thirty years of teaching and performance experience. She works with both professional and recreational singers and actors, who perform in musical theatre and opera in Chicago. Rebecca Patterson is certified in the LoVetri Method through the Institute for Contemporary Commercial Music Pedagogy and is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing.
Performer
Rebecca has appeared as soprano soloist with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Chicago’s Music of the Baroque, New York’s Masterwork Chorale, in Germany with Sir David Willcocks at the International Church Music Festival, and in concert throughout the Midwest. Operatic roles have ranged from Lauretta, the ingenue in Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi, to Amahl, the young crippled boy in Menotti’s Amahl and the Night Visitors.
