I teach from 10am - 2pm on most week days and from 8am-8pm Wednesday and weekends.
Rates
$150 in cash, in advance, for 4 one hour lessons. Usually one hour each week.
I am 66 years old and have taught for over 20 years, in students' homes. During the last 15 years, I have also taught privately at Penmar Park (in Venice). My BA is in Psychology, from UCSC; moreover, I did complete one year of music theory. I've played keyboards in a R&B band, however, the majority of my performing has been guitar solo concerts and clubs, of original compositions. For several years, I was a substitute teacher of most grades and classes, in private schools. I also taught some music programs for LAUSD. My wife and I have eight grown grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
