  My daughter has been attending El Cuento in it's Capitol Hill location for approximately 6 months and loves it. Rosy is always great, but in the beginning gave us transition advice and extra attention to my daughter while she adjusted to a drop-off school. Occasionally arriving for pick up early, I'm always impressed at their ability to capture the attention of so many kids. Rosy has quickly answered all of my questions. Best of all, the program seems to be working; My 3 year old daughter speaks in Spanish frequently.

  Review of Rosy, July 12, 2009

  Rosy has set up a wonderful in-home Spanish bilingual pre-school in her home. She has monthly themes which guide the reading/learning activities, art projects, and hands-on outdoor and indoor play. This sweet little school ( El Cuento) provides a wonderful balance of structure, fun and comfort. Our daughter runs to the door each morning and has a big hug for Rosy. At the end of the day she is reluctant to leave because she is having so much fun and is so comfortable. She is also learning Spanish and often uses Spanish words to describe the new things she is learning.

  Rosie is great. Let the kids each be themselves. Speaks to them 100% in spanish and rephrases everything they say to her in English back to them in Spanish. On top of that she has a cirrulum which includes a monthly focus, days of the week and calander skills, art and outside activity. Nice cozy house with lots of fenced outdoor space. They don't go out much if it is rainy. All the toys are aimed a vocab developments so there's not a lot of open ended toys (i.e. plain blocks etc.)

  Review of Rosy, June 02, 2009

  Rosy is fantastic with my 4 year-old little girl. She is looking forward to going every week and is always so proud of herself when I pick her up. We are very happy she gets to learn her 3rd language (she already knows French and English) from the best source while having fun.
