  He is sooooooooo patient and kind and an awesome teacher! I met Salar in PDX at a coffee shop and he was great at explaining how teachstreet works and really motivated to actually help teachers. Thanks Salar!

  Review of Snowboard Lessons, February 01, 2009

  Salar was an incredible teacher. I organized a group of complete variety newbies: 2 had never been on the snow ever, 3 established skiers and 1 person who doesn't like the cold. We were 7 students with an additional one that signed up via TeachStreet. It was quite the crew -- and salar handled the variety beautifully.

  The hard thing about boarding is getting to understand your balance points - so you can stand up on the board and shred. He took us through a series of exercises and tests on the snow before we walked up the hill. Once on the hill he worked with each of us to get us up and on the board. Then we were off and the falling and bruising began. It was a total blast!

  I had such an awesome time that I'm giving up skiing and moving to boarding as my new favorite winter mountain sport.

  I had a question about how to fit a photograph on my page and called Salar. He was very helpful and quickly solved the problem. I wish him and the whole company the best of luck in making Teach Street a major avenue for learning and teaching.
