Scott Howard has a wealth of teaching, coaching and playing experiance to meet your tennis needs. Scott has taught tennis for 14 years and has been a Head Coach at the Division I collegiate level for 8 years. Scott is currently ranked #7 in the United States Men's 40 & over division and #1 in Mixed Doubles in Northern California's Open division. Scott finished 2006 ranked #2 in the U.S. in the Men's 40 & over doubles and has won a total of 20 USTA tournaments since 2005. Scott is also the Seeding Coordinator for the USTA Nor Cal Men's 35's and 40's events.

Scott played #1 at San Francisco State University where he earned a B.A. in Broadcast Communications. He is near completion on his Masters Degree in Recreation Administration.

Scott comes from a very well-known and respected Bay Area tennis family. His father Gil, has won 13 national championships and was #1 in the world in the Men's 55 & over division. His two brothers (Mike and Kevin) were both ranked in the top 500 in the world (ATP), and his sister (Susan) played #1 at San Francisco State University.

Scott and his wife Christina reside in San Mateo with their two Pekingese dogs Bo and Chico.
