Experienced, compassionate instructors who look forwards to diving with you! Folks take to diving at different rates, we will work with you for however long YOU need to be comfortable in Scuba Diving. We are here to help make your dive training experiences comfortable, meaningful, safe and fun!

Seattle Scuba was started by PADI Master Instructor Craig Gillespie, a dive instructor for the past 35 years who has worked with over 20,000 students. Craig's main focus is and always will be giving you the best dive experience possible. Seattle Scuba has a staff of 6 instructors (including Craig who actively teaches), each one of whom loves teaching and teaches a LOT of class year. We certify hundreds of students a year, so all of our instructors are very active, these are not part time instructors teaching one class every couple of months, these are very passionate dive professionals.

At Seattle Scuba we only take a max of 6 students into our pool training sessions, as opposed to the 14 allowed by PADI standards!! For our open water training we also maintain staff/student ratios that include less students than PADI's maximum, we truly want you to be successful, we find this makes a big difference!
